The Story of The 456…

New York City has a magical way of bringing people together. One November night in the East Village, it introduced an up and coming singer/songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to a prolific veteran of the music industry. What happened next is where things get interesting. With one on guitar and the other on keys, one having crafted songs for likes of Whitney Houston, Barbara Streisand and Dolly Parton and the other cutting her teeth in clubs, cafes and hotel bars across North America... they came together across 456 miles to collaborate and cowrite some of the most tactile, emotional and powerful music either of them has produced in their combined 50 years in the industry. Natasha's haunting vocals set the mood for a group of honest, personal and deeply introspective songs that deal with memory, possibilities, loss and empowerment. It is clear in this collection of 'Simple Songs', that although from different worlds, their common connecting thread is a
love of storytelling through songwriting.
